Shenzhen Property Enterprises Proactively Assist the Disaster Areas

As of the afternoon of June 21, all the walks of Shenzhen had donated RMB1.199b to Sichuan disaster areas, nearly RMB1.2b. Among them, real estate enterprises contributed RMB 360m, approximately accounting for 1/3. On May 20, receiving the task of building ten thousand shift houses in the first phrase, 74 Shenzhen property enterprises donated more than RMB89.40m used for shift house construction in the disaster areas.

Through the struggle of more than 4000 frontier builders, Shenzhen accomplished the task in only 29 days ahead of time. Ten thousand shift houses cover 200,000 square meters while Shenzhen actually built 218,000 square meters. The houses can stand for 8 to 10 years. Moreover, the supporting facilities involving water and electricity, roads, surroundings, water draining and sewage disposal function well, and each Shenzhen donated-and-built subdistrict will all be named after the real estate enterprise with a big donation.
